JAY-Z and Beyoncé Put an 'Everything Is Love' Ad Above Red Lobster in Times Square

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 6, 2018

Beyoncé declared her love for good sex and bad food on Lemonade track "Formation" a couple years ago, informing listeners: "When he fuck me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster." And as of right now, Bey and her hubby JAY-Z have a semi-permanent reservation at the chain seafood restaurant.

A billboard advertising the Carters' Everything Is Love joint album is currently in place above the Red Lobster in Times Square in New York City.

Fans on Twitter were quick to point out the clever marketing ploy.

If history has proven anything, the billboard is likely a mutually beneficial ad for the Carters and Red Lobster. After all, sales at Red Lobster shot up 33 percent after the release of "Formation" in 2016.

We're guessing JAY-Z isn't having quite the same effect on the jet ski industry.

The Times Square billboard is not the only cleverly deployed poster that's popped up recently, though. Bey and Jay also took out some ad space in front of the Louvre in Paris, where they shot the video for "APESHIT."

The Carters are currently in the midst of their "OTR II" tour. See the remaining dates here.
