James Murphy has certainly been busy since laying LCD Soundsystem to rest. In addition to numerous appearances on collaborative tracks and hitting the studio with Arcade Fire, he's also taken some time to celebrate the twelfth anniversary of DFA Records.
Murphy co-founded the label back in 2001 and to mark its birthday, Murphy delivered a "lecture" in conjunction with Red Bull Music Academy. More of a casual interview affair, Murphy answers questions at the Red Bull HQ – starting at his fascination with Yes and eventually moving along to the formation of DFA and where he see's the label going.
