James Blake Takes 'The Colour in Anything' on North American Tour

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished May 31, 2016

James Blake released his third studio album The Colour in Anything at the start of this month and is now closing May with the announcement of a North American tour in support of the new record.

An appearance at Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon's Eaux Claires festival in August (where the duo will undoubtedly play their collaborative "I Need a Forest Fire") gives way to a string of dates in both Canada and the United States throughout September and October.

Blake's tour schedule takes him to the Great White North in October, playing Montreal's Metropolis and Toronto's Massey Hall on October 5 and 7, respectively. He'll then head west to Vancouver, where a performance at the Orpheum Theatre is slated for October 13.

Tickets can be bought through a pre-sale for Songkick followers at 10 a.m. local time tomorrow (June 1) through Blake's official website. Tickets then go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday (June 3).

The Colour in Anything is out now through Universal/Polydor.
