All of that Wavves hype must've paid off, as long-running Mississippi label Fat Possum has been signing up a storm recently. The latest group to join their roster are Jaguar Love, the new project of former Blood Brothers Johnny Whitney and Cody Votolato, as well as former Pretty Girls Make Graves member Jake Clarke.

The band released their debut LP, Take Me to the Sea, about a year ago and have since been touring the continent with their spastic pop songs.

Now, they're holed up with Blood Brothers producer John Goodmason to work on their as-yet-untitled debut for Fat Possum. According to a report from TinyMixTapes, the band have written 18 songs and plan to release about ten of them on the album, with the remainder coming out as online giveaways and bonus tracks.
