Islands Return with Two New Albums

Prolific songwriter Nick "Diamonds" Thorburn took a break from Islands to reunite the Unicorns in 2014 and release a solo album called City of Quartz last year. Returning to his main band, he's now prepared not one but two Islands albums.

The releases are called Should I Remain Here at Sea? and Taste , and they're two distinct releases. Taste is considered the band's sixth album and sees Thorburn exploring electronic sounds. Should I Remain Here at Sea?, meanwhile, is the band's seventh full-length and is a sequel to the band's Return to the Sea.

Both new albums were recorded in Toronto last summer, and they'll arrive on May 13. You can stream the new singles "Back Into It" and "Charm Offensive" below.

In addition to the new releases, Islands will head out on a North American tour this summer. The trek includes Canadian stops in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. Check out the itinerary below.
