Into It. Over It. Returns with 'Standards' LP, Shares "No EQ" and North American Tour Dates

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jan 13, 2016

Emo revivalist Evan Weiss has announced plans for a new LP from his Into It. Over It. project. Marking his third full-length under the moniker, Standards is set for release on March 11 through Triple Crown Records.

The album follows up 2013's Intersections and was produced by John Vanderslice. As Weiss explained in a Facebook post, the record was conceived in Vermont and laid to tape at Tiny Telephone Recording in San Francisco. He describes the album as "my favorite work of anything I've ever done."

"Evan is one the most challenging and surprising songwriters I've ever worked with," Vanderslice said in a press release. "He's also the best guitarist I've ever been in a room with. No joke."

The first sampling of Standards arrives with a single called "No EW." You can listen to it in the player at the bottom of the page.

In addition to news of the upcoming album, Into It. Over It. has unveiled plans for a North American tour alongside The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die, Sidekicks and Pinegrove. They'll be making Canadian stops in Toronto and Montreal, and you'll find the full list of dates below.
