Insane Collaboration Alert: Kanye West Reportedly Records Track with Jack White and Jay-Z

At this point, it's hard for us to get too surprised by anything that Kanye West does. After all, he's spent the last few months rolling out a seemingly never-ending stream of collaborations and crazy quotes. Still, we can't help but be a little shocked to learn that Yeezy recently teamed up with Jack White and Jay-Z on a new track.

This news comes from an article in Complex Magazine [via Consequence of Sound]. During an interview, Kanye reportedly "shared rhymes from a still-never-released song he'd done with Jay-Z and Jack White." There's no word as to when and how this track will be released, but we can't help but get excited just knowing that it might exist.

As insane as it sounds for a garage rock purist to team up with two of the world's biggest rappers, this collaboration actually makes sense. Jay-Z and Jack White reportedly recorded together during the spring, and Kanye is currently working on a new album with Jay-Z called Watch the Throne. This latest track could have been recorded during any of these sessions, or perhaps during a completely different session that we don't know about.

The Complex article has plenty more interesting Kanye tidbits, including the fact that the rapper didn't sleep in a bed while recording My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, instead reportedly taking 90-minute naps in the studio.
