This July, Guelph music fans will have two concurrent festivals to choose from. Not only will Hillside Festival be coming to Guelph Lake Island from July 25 to 27, the inaugural INCLINEΔDECLINE will take place at the same time in the city's downtown.

The full lineup has not yet but finalized, but confirmed performers include the Soupcans, Petra Glynt, Thighs, Dilly Dally, Not the Wind Not the Flag, WTCHS, Zones, I Smell Blood, Stüka, Wolfcow, Black Baron, Peace Be Still, Badminton Racquet, Baby Labour, Boar and Foam.

The DIY event runs entirely on donations and ticket sales, with an emphasis placed on low costs and volunteer contributions. It's curated by local residents Brian Schirk and John Pritchard, and an announcement notes, "This project aims to create a stronger bond between the DIY scenes in Guelph and surrounding areas, and solidify Guelph's role as an important stop on touring routes across Ontario."

The schedule will be rolled out in the coming weeks, and ticket information will also be announced. For now, go to Facebook for more information.
