If Your Password Is "Blink182" You're Probably Going to Get Hacked

Picking a password is no easy business, but you're not as clever as you think if you picked your favourite mainstream pop-punk band. According to a new study, using Blink-182 for your login is not the best bet.

As CNN reports, the U.K.'s National Cyber Security Centre analyzed passwords that had been breached on a worldwide scale. The most popular musical password, thanks to its combination of letters and numbers, was "blink182."

Other easily hackable passwords based on pop culture included "superman" and "cowboys1," the latter thanks to the NFL's Dallas Cowboys.
