Last night, Limp Bizkit performed at the Rock Allegiance festival in Camden, NJ, and the set was briefly interrupted by someone who ran onstage and attempted to hit frontman Fred Durst with a flying dropkick. According to numerous accounts, the assailant was none other than Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse.

Yes, you read that right: the year is 2018 and we're reporting on an altercation involving Limp Bizkit and Insane Clown Posse.

Video footage shows Limp Bizkit performing their cover of George Michael's "Faith." Just as the song is winding down, someone runs out from backstage and attempts to attack Durst with a dropkick from behind. The kick comes up a little short, however, and Durst is unscathed while the man gets swarmed by security and dragged away.

Insane Clown Posse also performed at Rock Allegiance; they completed their set just a few hours before Limp Bizkit took the stage. Numerous reports identify the ICP rapper as the kicker, although it's difficult to recognize him from the videos.

Watch the incident from multiple angles below. Apparently no one told the attacker that Durst is actually really cool these days.
