Two distinct voices have contributed to I Mother Earth's four-album studio discography, and the Canadian alt rockers have now announced plans to perform with both Edwin and Brian Byrne for the first time ever in 2022.

Next year, I Mother Earth will perform material from their four LPs with both Edwin and Byrne at dates in Toronto and Ottawa, both of which will be filmed and recorded for "a special, future release," per a press release.

The band will first play Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre on February 4, ahead of bringing their show to Ottawa's Bronson Centre on March 4.

Tickets for both dates go on sale to the public December 10 at 10 a.m. ET, though respective limited presales will allow fans a chance at tickets earlier. On December 8 at 10 a.m., both Toronto and Ottawa presales can be accessed using the password "Mothers."

With Edwin, I Mother Earth made their debut with Dig in 1993, and followed that with Scenery and Fish in 1996. Byrne made his debut with the group on 1999's Blue Green Orange, which was followed by 2003's The Quicksilver Meat Dream, the band's most recent full-length release.

I Mother Earth released non-album single "We Got the Love" in 2012, which was followed by "The Devil's Engine" and "Blossom" in 2015.
