Set to celebrate a 50-year legacy in sports, art, music and street culture, Vans is gearing up to commemorate the occasion with House of Vans events in 10 different cities around the globe, including Toronto, from March 16 to 19.

For the Canadian edition, alt-rock vets Dinosaur Jr. will headline the anniversary festivities in Toronto on March 16, with support from Awful Records signee Tommy Genesis and local hip-hop staple Jazz Cartier. Other worldwide events will feature Erykah Badu, Nas, Wu-Tang Clan and Dizzee Rascal performing in Austin, Brooklyn, Mexico City and London, respectively.

"We really wanted to honour our heritage in enabling creative expression," April Vitkus, senior director of global brand marketing, told Billboard. "The global idea was to expand the accessibility to the House of Vans. It's such a unique, cultural hub for the brand that it was important to us to celebrate in as many communities as we could."

Other Toronto events scheduled later in the month from House of Vans will see performances from Grandmaster Flash, Tommy Kruise, Teenager, Fake Palms, Career Suicide, Faze, Whip-Its, Beverleys and Bambii. In addition to the musical portion, the festivities will also include an all-ages introduction to skateboarding workshop, along with a chance to personalize your own pair of Vans shoes.

Toronto's House of Vans will be located in the Hamilton Gears warehouse at 950 Dupont Street. Read through the list of Toronto events below and watch for RSVP information here.
