Hot Snakes Sign to Sub Pop for First Album in 14 Years

BY Josiah HughesPublished Aug 14, 2017

Hot Snakes popped up for a handful of reunion dates in 2011 and 2012, and now they're back in full. The gritty rock band, who developed a cult-like following for their trio of albums in the 2000s, will return with a brand new LP next year.

The news comes via Sub Pop, which has signed the group to a worldwide deal. They're set to release the band's first album since 2004's Audit in Progress, though details are practically non-existent. Stay tuned for more news as it becomes available.

Further, Sub Pop plans to reissue Audit in Progress alongside Suicide Invoice and Automatic Midnight in the spring of 2018.

Finally, Hot Snakes will inaugurate their Sub Pop relationship with a string of U.S. tour dates. You'll find the full itinerary below.
