Way back in 2008, Hot Chip mastermind Alexis Taylor released his debut solo offering Rubbed Out. Now, six years later, he's announced an official follow-up.
The LP is called Await Barbarians and features a number of new pop songs from the artist. While we don't have a tracklisting just yet, we do have a lyric video for the album's lead single "Elvis Has Left the Building."
The song, which can be streamed below, is a melancholy mix of slow, soft drum work, pensive piano and Taylor's forlorn vocals.
Await Barbarians will arrive on June 9 via Domino.
