Holograms Kick Off First North American Tour, Share New Video

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 5, 2012

Earlier this year, recent Captured Tracks signees Holograms issued their punk- and new wave-spiked self-titled debut, an album we lauded for its "brash, virulent anthems." Considering the band are located in Stockholm, Sweden, it's a given that the group won't be out on our side of the world all that often, but thankfully they've just started up their first-ever North American tour.

The unit's trek on this side of the pond kicks off today (September 5) in Washington, DC, and will run through to the end of the month. Along the way, the band will hit up three Canadian cities: Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. You can get the show specifics down below.

If you needed a little extra convincing to check the act out, they've also just shared a new video for scrappy Holograms number "Fever," a decidedly lo-fi cut-and-paste clip full of jean-jacketed youths, sports cars and magic eye-indebted backdrops. You can also check that out at the bottom of the page.
