Hollerado

"I Got You" (video)

Hollerado are back with a brand new video for "I Got You" off their most recent LP Born Yesterday, and Exclaim! is giving you the first look at it.

The clip takes us all the way back to 1982, featuring the band on a fictional TV variety show dubbed Jukebox Saturday Night. For their live performance, the group don coordinated black-and-white outfits and get some additional onstage action thanks to some similarly monochromatic back-up dancers.

The clip was directed by Caitlin Cronenberg, who (despite coming from a family of filmmaking royalty) is best known as the photographer who shot the ridiculously meme-able cover shot for Drake's VIEWS.

"It was so amazing to shoot this video in a theatre with a real audience. It meant that the band was really performing and the audience was loving it," Cronenberg tells Exclaim! "I had my one-year-old on set with me and now whenever he hears the song he stops what he is doing to dance! He also makes a cameo in the video."

And the track itself still holds up for her to this day. "That's the mark of a good song," she adds. "You make it through the entire shoot and the entire edit, and when it comes on the radio I still crank it and sing along."
