In a move sure to bring smiles to the faces of the Hold Steady's fanbase, the Brooklyn indie rock vets have announced that they'll be supporting their forthcoming sixth full-length Teeth Dreams with a North American tour.
The band have revealed a spring show schedule that starts up shortly after the album arrives March 25 through Razor & Tie offshoot White Square. The trip kicks off in Portland, ME and primarily focuses on the U.S. market, but the Hold Steady will make it up to Canada to play Toronto's Phoenix Concert Theatre on April 9. They'll then head back beneath the border and hook up with Deer Tick and close out a batch of joint dates in Texas. You'll find all the details down below.
Teeth Dreams is the Hold Steady's first LP for fledgling imprint White Square, and their first since 2010's Heaven Is Whenever. You can check out the first rock-centric preview of the set "I Hope This Whole Thing Didn't Frighten You," featuring big guitar chords and vocalist Craig Finn's familiar sprechgesang flow, in the player beneath the concert info.
