Hey Rosetta!

"Yer Fall" (video)

East Coast favourites Hey Rosetta! are still hard at work promoting their latest album, Seeds, which came out earlier this year via Sonic Records and earned the orchestral folk outfit a shortlist nod for the prestigious Polaris Music Prize. In addition to touring North America, the group have now unveiled a video for the Seeds track "Yer Fall."

Directed by the band's drummer Phil Maloney, the video takes a documentary-style look at the life of Hey Rosetta!, and this includes studio clips from 2010, live performances from this past summer and various behind-the-scenes tour footage. It's a simple concept but works well as an accompaniment to this sweeping, cinematic rock song.

Speaking of the video, Maloney says, "The two things I am probably most passionate about are music and film. While having played music my whole life and touring for years, I'm relatively new to the video world. Being on the road most of the time brings me to some pretty cool locations that I think deserve to be captured. This video is a combination of both passions, shot during a busy summer of shows and festivals as well as our time in the studio recording our latest record Seeds. It was fun to make and I hope you dig it!"

These performance clips are bound to get folks excited about the outfit's North American tour, so be sure to check out the dates here.
