Remaining remarkably true to his word, Kanye West delivered the third Wyoming-recorded album today, releasing his collaborative Kids See Ghosts LP with Kid Cudi.
Going under the project name Kids See Ghosts, the pair launched the new record with another elaborate party last night (June 7) in Santa Clarita, CA, that featured hoards of Kardashians, Takashi Murakami and Drake's alleged ghostwriter Quentin Miller, as well as fellow hip-hop artists like Desiigner and Lil Dicky. And that's not even including the guests featured on the actual recording.
Upon the release of Kids See Ghosts, plenty of previously unannounced cameos have been uncovered.
For instance, Pusha-T appears on the opening track "Feel the Love." He repeats the sentiment heard on DAYTONA cut "Infrared," ("I am not to be compared to you rappers, Eazy-Duz-It"), but avoids taking any further shots at Drake.
The second cut, "Fire," hears 'Ye and Cudi handling all the vocals, though André 3000 does get a co-producer credit.
Third track "4th Dimension," meanwhile, credits Louis Prima for the use of his old-timey Christmas tune "What Will Santa Claus Say." The same track also samples Shirley Ann Lee's "Someday," which recently also made an appearance on ye track "Ghost Town." It was produced by West with Mike Dean.
Following an intro from a Marcus Garvey speech, "Freeee (Ghost Town Pt. 2)" hears Yeezy once again roping in Ty Dolla $ign for a feature. He also appeared on ye tracks "All Mine" and "Wouldn't Leave."
"Reborn" gives production credits to Cudi along with Evan mast, Plain Pat and Cudi's WZRD bandmate Dot Da Genius.
The penultimate title track features a chorus by Yasiin Bey between West and Cudi's verses, while album closer "Cudi Montage" reunites West and Cudi with Mr. Hudson.
