Earlier this year, Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! funnyman Tim Heidecker released an album with his band Heidecker & Wood. A collaboration with Awesome Show composer Davin Wood, the duo's Starting from Nowhere was a slightly confusing pastiche that aped soft rock without being silly enough to be funny. The same can be said for the video for "Life on the Road."
With its hokey graphics, ultra-slow fade-outs and seemingly directionless series of images, it looks a bit like a low-budget clip from the '80s. But once again, it's tough to tell to what extent it's a joke.
