Too High Crew rapper Chrissy (a.k.a. Chris van der Laan) is tucking his weed rhymes away for the time being to reteam with vocalist Melissa Gregerson as Heavy Steps. Details of a forthcoming EP titled Trash Object are slim, but the dream pop duo have unveiled a rich, speaker-flooding preview from the set called "River Verse."
Sticking with the sorts of Beach House-styled sounds of 2012's You, Conduit, this latest track finds Gregerson's soft, sighed vocals swimming through a deeply warming and oceanic organ arrangement.
