Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: the OBGMs, Kardinal Offishall, Tami Neilson

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Jun 17, 2022

It turns out that the rumour that Drake put hot sauce in a used condom after sex may have been false after all: in between hanging out with HAIM and bringing high-speed internet to Pickering, Drizzy has successfully impregnated himself and carried a new album — called Honestly, Nevermind — to term. He surprise-released the bouncing bundle of joy overnight, giving birth again less than a year on from Certified Lover Boy.

Elsewhere, the OBGMS return with hard-hitter "Same," Kardinal Offishall teams up with Tona to soak up the "Glory" and Tami Neilson speaks for us all with her longing to be a "Careless Woman."

This week also saw album releases from Deliluh (Fault Lines), Praises (In This Year: Hierophant), Michael Rault (S/T) and Tomb Mold (Aperture of Body).

Whether or not you're burned out on the 6ix God, there are plenty of new music options to make your hotline bling with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
