Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Snotty Nose Rez Kids, Savannah Ré, Crown Lands

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Mar 25, 2022

It's time again: we've made it through another week and Friday is here to gift us with the best the nation has to offer in new music.

Noteworthy listens come from recent Exclaim! cover stars Snotty Nose Rez Kids, who have teamed up with Shad and producer Taabu for a remix of "Red Sky at Night" that burns scarlet, as well as an oasis of a comeback single from R&B provocateur Savannah Ré and a new live version of "The Witching Hour (Electric Witch)" from Crown Lands' White Buffalo, recorded at Toronto's Revolution Recording — perhaps from when they jammed with Rush's Alex Lifeson?

This week also saw big new albums from the recently-returned Mares of Thrace, timeless rock icon Destroyer, Cowboy Junkies (Songs of the Recollection) and Sunglaciers.

Find all that and plenty more to sink your teeth into with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
