Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Savannah Ré, the Sadies, iskwē and Tom Wilson

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Jul 22, 2022

Summer is flying by, isn't it? It's a hot one (like seven inches from the midday sun), and it's just going to keep getting hotter. We've got more blistering heat, as well as breezy tunes to help cool you down, on this week's round-up of the best new Canadian music.

The Beaches are roaring back with best-laid plans on "Grow Up Tomorrow," the ever-relatable Dan Mangan is trying to find a "Fire Escape" and Savannah Ré is "About U" on the lead-off single for her new EP No Weapons.

This week we also have album releases from Aquakultre, the Sadies (Colder Streams), iskwē and Tom Wilson (Mother Love) and Wake (Thought Form Descent).

Beat the heat and fuel the flames in equal measure with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
