Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Luna Li, DijahSB, Lights, Tegan and Sara

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Feb 4, 2022

After the marathon that was January, we've thankfully made it to the shortest month of the year — but February is already far from short on great new Canadian music.

It was an especially big week for collaborations, between Busty and the Bass and Cadence Weapon teaming up on "Airplanes," Luna Li and beabadoobee, DijahSB and Terrell Morris, Tegan and Sara with each other (reinventing an old song from So Jealous) and Backxwash with Death Grips' Andy Morin, as well as the supergroup that is Anyway Gang.

We also had album releases from Montreal post-classical pianist Jean-Michel Blais (aubades), current Exclaim! New Faves pick Myles Lloyd and alum SoftcultLights announced her new album, as did Jordan Klassen and Dana Gavanski, while METZ unveiled a split 7-inch with Adulkt Life.

Turn over a new leaf and start with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
