Between the thrilling saga of Nicki Minaj's cousin's friend's balls and the federal election, you're probably feeling ready for a bit of a breather. Why not dig into the latest and greatest CanCon?

In a nutshell: Ducks Ltd. come out swinging with potentially their best song yet in "Under the Rolling Moon," Toronto's Pleasure Craft "Bag Down" and Hubert Lenoir (kind of?) looks ahead to next month — and taking over the world — on "OCTEMBRE."

In terms of cover stories, Charlotte Cardin covers the late great Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" with a Latin flare, while the Tragically Hip have unearthed an alternate version of "Fiddler's Green" to honour 30 years of Road Apples.

Album releases of the week include great new records from Lenoir, Naya Ali, DijahSB, Spiritbox and Crown Lands. And even more artists are still gearing up for their forthcoming releases later this fall!

Keys N Krates continue to preview Original Classic with Juicy J, and Dave Monks makes his mission statement with "Can't Put My Fire Out." Whitby's Chastity holds onto Suffer Summer, Montreal's Visibly Choked share the lead-off from their debut EP, Wine Lips have their "Eyes" on Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party and Casper Skulls share "Tommy" ahead of Knows No Kindness.

Are you feeling reinvigorated? Could this be the perfect soundtrack to rock as you roll up to the polling station? The Eh! List can count on your vote below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
