Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Crown Lands, Daniel Caesar, Dominique Fils-Aimé, New Pornographers

BY Exclaim! StaffPublished Mar 31, 2023

Out like a lamb? Dominique Fils-Aimé is ready to move on from March on her new single "Cheers to New Beginnings," and we couldn't agree more. If nothing else, Daniel Caesar's new album comes out in April, and his latest single is among the week's best new Canadian music — the perfect soundtrack for ushering in a new era.

It's a huge week for album releases, with new full-lengths from Crown Lands, New Pornographers (Continue as a Guest), City and Colour (The Love Still Held Me Near), Murray A. Lightburn (Once Upon a Time in Montreal), PACKS, Sunnsetter and Kris Ulrich.

Elsewhere, DizzySkiifall and Cowboy Junkies all have new projects on the way, while Katie Tupper finds "Comfort" in remembering the sage wisdom of Hannah Georgas"This Too Shall Pass."
