Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Couer de pirate, Mother Mother, Rochelle Jordan
Having faired badly in our Oscar pool thanks to Cary Mulligan not winning Best Actress, we're consoling ourselves with a pile of amazing new Canadian music. Our favourites of the week are in The Eh! List.

This includes music for all tastes: there's shoegaze from Status/Non-Status (f.k.a. Whoop-szo), pop-rock from Mother Mother and Said the Whale, hip-hop from Cadence Weapon and Haviah Mighty, instrumental piano from Béatrice Martin (a.k.a. Couer de pirate), R&B-leaning songs Rochelle Jordan and Chiiild, and folk-inspired sounds from Allison Russell and the Deep Dark Woods.

There's even a little classic country from Orville Peck, who covered "Jackson" along with drag queen Trixie Mattel.

Hear it all below in The Eh! List, which is presented by Mary Brown's Chicken & Taters — all Canadian and proud of it!
