Following DMX's recent death at the age of 50, the rapper is being celebrated with a posthumous single. "Been to War" features Swizz Beatz and French Montana.

The song comes from the second season of Epix's Godfather of Harlem. It is an aggressive banger with an ominous two-note brass riff. The lyrics touch on going to hell, doing prison time and dealing drugs. French Montana even makes a quick reference to Vince Carter's time on the Toronto Raptors.

The track follow the recent release of "X Moves," which found DMX pairing up with Parliament-Funkadelic bassist Bootsy Collins, Yes guitarist Steve Howe and Deep Purple drummer Ian Paice.

DMX died following a drug overdose and a heart attack, which left him in a coma for a week.
