Following a recent burst of Spotify singles, the streaming service has shared another that finds Charlotte Day Wilson covering Dolly Parton.
The Canadian artist covered Parton's 1977 tune "Here You Come Again," which she called a favourite on social media.
The song is recognized as one of the country icon's first crossover hits, and it earned her the Grammy for Best Female Country Vocal in 1979.
Wilson also performed her original song "Doubt," which was a leading single from this year's Stone Woman EP. You can hear both tracks in the player below.
Earlier this year, Wilson was the recipient of the 2018 Prism Prize and used part of her winnings to create a film grant for Canadian female/non-binary directors.
