Happy Victoria Day long weekend! If you find yourself in need of a palate cleanser from your dock rock playlist over the next few days, might we humbly suggest blasting the week's best new Canadian music with the windows down?

This week sees exciting releases from Toronto R&B riser Savannah Ré and Montreal shoegaze experimentalists No Joy, the latter having announced Bugland, their first album since 2020's Motherhood.

In addition to EPs from Chinese Medicine, Absolute Treat and current Exclaim! New Fave Fine Food Market, this week's album releases have delivered the goods with new full-length offerings from EKKSTACY (FOREVER), Dan Mangan (Natural Light), Arm's Length, Lido Pimienta, Mares of Thrace and Tanika Charles.

Elsewhere, Ada Lea leads off her upcoming new album with "baby blue frigidaire mini fridge" and Daphni links up with Sofia Kourtesis.

Soundtrack what all Canadians consider to be the actual start of summer with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken — all Canadian and proud of it!
