Continuing to make waves from Toronto to Yellowknife and beyond, Haviah Mighty has been nominated for a BET Hip Hop Award.
The award-winning artist is up for Best International Flow honours at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards, which will be handed out October 5. First introduced in 2019, the award spotlights MCs from outside the United States, with past winners including Stormzy, Little Simz and Sarkodie.
Mighty's competition includes the UK's Central Cee and Knucks, France's Le Juiice and Benjamin Epps, Ghana's Black Sherif, Zimbabwe's Nadia Nakai, Brazil's Tasha & Tracie and South Africa's Blxckie.
Elsewhere, Mighty's fellow Ontarian Drake leads the pack with 14 total nominations off the strength of Certified Lover Boy and Honestly, Nevermind, while Kaytranada and Director X are up for DJ of the Year and Video Director of the Year honours, respectively.
