The Sunday Scaries are officially cancelled: Dundas Street West staple the Baby G has announced a new free weekly concert series called Happy Sundays launching this December.
With headlining performances by Montreal singer-songwriter Hanorah, as well as Toronto's own kulintang quintet Pantayo and shoegaze/surf-poppers Tallies, the city's most important venue for up-and-coming acts is finally ready to get back to doing what it does best — highlighting emerging artists — now that COVID-19 capacity restrictions have been lifted.
Starting December 5, the Baby G will open its doors again on Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET and allow the public to discover great new music in a live setting. Is there any better way to kick off a new week?
Check out the full lineup details below, and stay tuned for more Happy Sundays programming to be announced.
