Hamilton's Supercrawl Rolls Out 2012 Lineup with Owen Pallett, Change of Heart, K'naan, Mystery Machine, Born Ruffians

As promised, the organizer's of Hamilton, ON's Supercrawl announced their 2012 lineup today at a pop-up show outside of the Tivoli Theatre in downtown Hamilton. At the gig, which featured Said the Whale and Terra Lightfoot, the organizers unveiled the bands that will be playing at this year's free street festival on September 14 and 15.

The headliners for the Friday night (September 14) are Said the Whale, Zeus, Young Rival and Wax Mannequin. These acts will perform on the stage located at Colbourne Street and James Street North.

On September 15, a host of acts will be playing on four different stages on James Street North (one of those stages is co-curated by Exclaim!). Some of the biggest names include K'naan, Owen Pallett, Great Lake Swimmers, Change of Heart, Hollerado, Sianspheric, Born Ruffians, Rah Rah, Mystery Machine, Chore, SImply Saucer, Julie Fader, Rococode, Dearly Beloved, the Gertrudes, B.A. Johnson, Eamon McGrath and Kestrels.

More details about the festivities, which will include artists from a variety of disciplines, will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
