Hamilton's premiere multi-arts festival Supercrawl has unveiled the lineup of its 17th edition taking place this fall. Presented by TD Bank Group, the free festival will run from September 12 to 14 along James Street North in Downtown Hamilton.
Marking the "most expansive roster" Supercrawl has showcased yet, this year's festival features headlining performances from Born Ruffians, Basia Bulat, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Steve Strongman, TOBi and Donovan Woods.
Other artists hitting the stages at Supercrawl this fall include AOIFE, Rachel Bobbitt, Born in the Eighties, Cadence Weapon, Classified, the Darcys, Eyes Like Opals, Foxwarren, Hamilton's Children's Choir, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra, Hua Li 化力, Neon Dreams, PyPy, Thunder Queens, Trout Lily, CJ Wiley and more.
"Collaboration with great artists and musicians has been central to Supercrawl since we started," shared Supercrawl festival director Tim Potocic. "When we did, the idea that we would one day be producing our 17th annual festival season seemed like a distant dream. Community support and creative collaboration has made that dream real, and in our 17th year it's a pleasure to present our biggest musical lineup yet. We hope that the community and folks from across Canada join us as we celebrate the arts this September."
Further lineup details — including vendors, food trucks, sports, art, dance, theatre and the event map — will be revealed in the weeks leading up to the festival. You can find more information via Supercrawl's website.
