Halifax Pop Explosion is set to take over the Maritime city with all manner of live shows and conferences this October, and ahead of the fest, organizers have lifted the curtain on the first batch of acts set to play this year's event.
The initial announcement reveals that Zola Jesus, Born Ruffians, CupcakKe, Cadence Weapon, Sean Leon, Reuben and the Dark, Helena Deland, Fat Tony and Apple Cat will perform at this year's festival. They join the previously announced Port Cities (with Symphony Nova Scotia).
The 2018 edition of Halifax Pop Explosion will take place in various venues around the city from October 17 to 20.
