Halifax Pop Explosion Announces Final Line-Up Featuring Girl Talk, Final Fantasy, Mates of State, Japandroids

A little while back, the renowned Halifax Pop Explosion announced what was the festival's initial line-up. Since then, organizers have been able to cull all of the hopefuls into a final list, which includes such acts as Girl Talk, Mates of State, Japandroids, Owen, MSTRKRFT and Final Fantasy with Symphony Nova Scotia.

Before we get into that massive full list, though, let us first give you some details. This year, Halifax Pop Explosion runs from October 20-24. It appears as though Rogers will be presenting the event, which enters its 16th anniversary, and if you want to attend the entire festival, a pass will run you $100, while VIP passes are $250. And, like every year, the live concerts are offset by a seemingly endless stream of conferences and other diversions.

"We are proud to have put together our most ambitious festival to date," says executive director Wayne Mason in the event's press release. "We have worked hard to book bigger music acts than ever before, while still offering the diverse and exciting line-up of artists that the Pop Explosion is known for."

So, without further ado, that list:
