Gwar Plot North American Tour in Support of 'The Blood of Gods' LP

"Humans, we are coming to tear your world apart with a live performance the likes of which has never been seen on this or any other planet!"

Gore-loving rockers Gwar recently revealed plans to unleash a new album this fall, and now they've mapped out plans to take it on the road.

The Blood of Gods is due out October 20 via Metal Blade. According to a press release, the new record hears the band challenging humanity's great sins, including everything from "politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food, and factory farming."

A supporting tour will kick off the same night of the record's release with a show in Richmond, VA.

The band will also hit a number of Canadian cities on the trek, including a stop in Toronto on October 22. They'll return north of the border for a string of Western Canada shows in Winnipeg (November 8), Saskatoon (November 9), Edmonton (November 10), Calgary (November 11) and Vancouver (November 13). The full run of dates wraps up on December 10 in Detroit.

In a statement, the Berserker Blothar had this to say about the upcoming tour:

Humans, we are coming to tear your world apart with a live performance the likes of which has never been seen on this or any other planet! This album, The Blood of Gods, is the greatest thing since French toast. Just hearing these songs performed will result in an instant paroxysm of weeping, gnashing of teeth, and the uncontrollable voiding of your filthy bowels. Now, we are taking the whole bloody shit show on the road, with the most spectacular, blood-drenched, gruesome, and terrifying rock concert of all time. Don't miss your chance to sacrifice yourself to Gwar at a venue near you!
