The ceremony to honour the 2012 inductees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is still more than four months away, with the event slated to take place on April 14 in Cleveland, OH. If you're unable to deal with the suspense any longer, fear not, since the inductees have already been confirmed.

This year, the hall will welcome Guns N' Roses, Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Donovan. There will also be posthumous nods to '60s songwriter Laura Nyro and producer Don Kirshner. The inductees are rounded out by Freddie King, Cosimo Matassa, Tom Dowd, Glyn Johns and the Faces/the Small Faces (Faces singer Rod Stewart is already in the HoF).

Several of these inductees have been nominated before, as the Beasties, Chili Peppers and Donovan were all previously passed over.

Among the 2012 nominees who didn't make the cut are the Cure, Eric B. & Rakim, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Donna Summer, Rufus with Chaka Khan, and War.

Tickets for the induction ceremony go on sale to the public on December 17. Let's be honest though -- most of us are probably just going to watch the highlights on YouTube.
