Guns N' Roses Announce Canadian Tour, Animal Collective Save the Seals and Sufjan Stevens Reveals His 2010 Album Plans in This Week's Exclaim! News Round-Up
Published Oct 24, 2009Following another week of tireless news-gathering, we're back with Exclaim!'s News Round-Up, our link-filled guide to the week's top stories. As always, it's been a busy one, so we're going to get right down to it.
Kicking things off we had Guns N' Roses finally giving North America some tour dates, but only here in Canada. While Axl and the band will be making the rounds throughout the Great White North, G N' R didn't announce a Vancouver date, though there may be a reason for that.
Not far behind on the news front, Animal Collective joined forces with PETA, Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to gun charges and may face a year in jail, and Kayne West got his very own death hoax.
Plus, Michael Jackson fans launched a protest against This Is It and Megadeth's Dave Mustaine shared some very choice words with Exclaim about his label Roadrunner Records.
Oh, and it turns out Sufjan Stevens may be overcoming that "crisis" after all and is already thinking about a new album for 2010. However, as actor/comedian Eugene Mirman tells Exclaim!, Flight of the Conchords may not be faring so well and might not return for another season. Yeah, we know, we're bummed about that too.
