This year mark's the 10th edition of Calgary's annual music, arts and film festival Sled Island, and the organizers have put together one hell of a lineup. Following the announcement of Peaches as a guest curator, the event has let loose the first wave of artists playing the fest.

There are a pair of legendary indie bands headlining the fest, with lo-fi gods Guided By Voices taking top billing alongside Built to Spill. The newly reformed lineup for Guided By Voices will include frontman Robert Pollard, along with Bobby Bare Jr. (guitar), Kevin March (drums), Nick Mitchell (guitar) and Mark Shue (bass).

They'll be joined by a diverse lineup that includes Suuns, Deafheaven, Angel Olsen, the Sonics, Julia Holter, HEALTH, Tortoise, Protomartyr, Psychic TV, Dawn of Midi, New Bomb Turks, Radioactivity and Duchess Says.

Of course, this is just a small sampling of the 250 acts who will grace Calgary's stages from June 22 to 26.

Passes for Sled Island are on sale now here. Stay tuned for more information on the festival as it becomes available.
