It hasn't been a very good week for trap god Gucci Mane. After a well-publicized Twitter meltdown that had many questioning his mental health, the rapper seemingly got his shit together long enough to release a new mixtape. Things have taken a turn for the worst, however, as he's now been arrested.
TMZ reports that the rapper born Radric Davis was reportedly taken into custody at 12:05 a.m. this morning (September 14) after one of his friends complained to police about his erratic behaviour.
The friend reportedly waved down police for help, at which point Gucci allegedly started "cursing and threatening them." Police found a concealed handgun and a small amount of weed on the rapper, and he was booked for carrying a concealed weapon and marijuana possession along with disorderly conduct.
Gucci Mane was taken to a hospital as a precaution. TMZ reports that he's still in the hospital.
