Gucci Mane Going Back to Jail Over Battery Charge

After pleading guilty to battery charges stemming from an incident early this year where he pushed a woman out of a moving vehicle, long-troubled Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane is heading back to jail. Mane, born Radric Delantic Davis, will serve six months on two counts of battery, two counts of reckless conduct and one count of disorderly conduct.

The hip-hop artist initially spent some time in a DeKalb County jail cell in Georgia over the incident back in April. The offence occurred on January 28 when Davis pushed 36-year-old Diana Graham out of his Hummer after she refused the $150 he offered her to come back to a nearby hotel.

As the Associated Press reports, on top of the six-month sentence, Judge Eleanor Ross has ordered Gucci to complete 12 weeks of anger management classes, pay $5,091 to cover Graham's medical bills and pay a $3,000 fine.

Considering his past dalliances with the law, from traffic violations to weapons and drug infractions, this certainly isn't the first time Gucci's been in legal hot water. Though experience would suggest otherwise, hopefully for him it's the last.
