Continually breaking the boundaries of what is and is not considered art, Grimes has put a gallery price tag on her most precious of her possessions — her soul.

In a new gallery exhibit called Selling Out, hosted online in tandem between Los Angeles's Gallery Platform and Maccarone, the artist born Claire Boucher plans to hand over the rights to a percentage of her soul to the buyer with the best offer. The "piece" shares a title with the exhibit.

Speaking with Bloomberg, the artist revealed her initial plan to sell the legal rights to her soul for the reasonable price of $10 million USD. As she became more philosophically interested in the concept, she opted instead to offer the metaphysical entity to the highest bidder.

"I really wanted to collaborate with my lawyer on art. The idea of fantastical art in the form of legal documents just seems very intriguing to me," she said. "With the current state of the world, do you want to put something up for $10 million?"

In addition to the show's highly-prized titular piece, Boucher plans to sell off digital prints, drawings, paintings and photographs. You can see parts of the collection here
