Since releasing his debut album The Year of the Record Break, Winnipeg-based singer-songwriter Greg MacPherson has been plugging away on the road and in the studio for 15 years. After a five-year break from 2005 to 2010, he returned with Mr. Invitation last year. Now, he's announced plans for yet another album.

The new record is called Disintegration Blues and was released in Europe earlier this year via Play/Rec. On September 6, it will get a North American release via MacPherson's own newly minted Disintegration Records.

The album track "Snowman" can be heard here.
