Great Bloomers Sign to Dine Alone, Announce New 7-Inch and Canadian Tour

BY Alex HudsonPublished Mar 2, 2012

It's been close to three years since Great Bloomers released their debut album, Speak of Trouble, and these roots-rocking Torontonians will soon be ending the drought. The group have just inked a deal with esteemed Canuck indie label Dine Alone Records and are gearing up to release their sophomore album.

The LP is due to come out later this year, but before then, Great Bloomers will drop a seven-inch single featuring the track "Something More" on the A-side and "Sunday Clothes" on the flip. It was recorded by Chris Stinger (Timber Timbre, Ohbijou) and mastered by Gavin Gardiner of the Wooden Sky. Down below, you can listen to that climactic A-side and up above you can see the release's artwork.

The seven-inch will be sold exclusively on tour when the band hit the road with labelmates Library Voices and Yukon Blonde this spring. Before that trip begins, they'll be finishing up some dates with the Wooden Sky. See Great Bloomers' full schedule below.
