Neon-clad Edmontonion techno pop group Gobble Gobble have spent the better part of the last two years making laps around the continent on their endless tours. Now that they've seemingly slowed down a little and are working on their next long-player, some Gobble members are exploring new side-projects. Take the group's Calvin McElroy, for example, who has been making warm electronic music as Kuhrye-oo.
To help give the project an introduction, McElroy has revealed details for Kuhrye-oo's debut tour. The run of dates kicks off with a show at Toronto's Lavish & Squalor today (July 22), and also includes BC stops in Abbotsford and Vancouver on August 10 and 11, respectively. There are also many other shows throughout the United States, including a brief stint with his Gobble bandmate Corin Roddick's Purity Ring project.
