"Everybody Lies" (video)

Halifax unit Glory Glory released and toured their So Long EP earlier this year, but the East Coast four-piece aren't slowing down. They've put together a video for "Everybody Lies," and Exclaim.ca has got the exclusive premiere.

The band previously shared a clip for "Indigo Son," and now the electro-infused indie popsters have delivered some visuals for "Everybody Lies." The video blends hazy, colourful effects of the band with darker, stop-motion footage of a couple wandering in the great outdoors, with everything being shot by Gavin Maclean with assistance from Nick Jones at Mount St. Vincent University in the group's hometown.

Working well with the band's mention of "dark versus light" in the song, things take a spooky turn when axes get involved and the camera work gets shaky and hallucinogenic.

Priding themselves on the ability to "mould progressive sonic landscapes into a pop framework," the band show off their indie pop chops on track itself, blending psychedelic vibes with a jangly, upbeat undercurrent of guitar.
