Self-described "tropical grit pop" duo Ghost Beach have become Nettwerk Records' latest signing, and the Brooyln-based band are celebrating the new deal by premiering a video for their song "Moon over Japan."
The tune is is a grooving synth-pop number with lush keyboard tones and emotive croons. As for the accompanying clip, visualized by Swedish animator/designer Lil Jonna, it features rudimentary animation, and we see a long distance couple corresponding via text messages. They eventually meet at a Ghost Beach concert, and the unsuspecting fellow learns that his lady love is, as she puts it, "not like other girls."
