The 2013-14 NHL hockey season gets underway tomorrow (October 1), and pending any last-minute lockout situations, it promises to be an exciting one. But hockey is not the only thing that we Canadians have to be excited about this week, as there are plenty of brand new album streams and music videos to check out in our weekly Music/Video Roundup. Check out some of our favourites from the past week below and be sure to head over to our Music/Video section every week for the latest in the world of music.

First up, Saskatoon folk outfit the Deep Dark Woods are set to release their fifth album, Jubilee, on October 1. The album can currently be streamed in its entirety at Exclaim.ca, giving fans a taste of their more psych-tinted direction.

Calgary indie rockers Boreal Sons will release debut LP Threadbare tomorrow as well, but if you can't wait that long, we've got you covered with a full stream. Meanwhile, Toronto's golden boy Drake has released a characteristically over-the-top video for mega-hit "Hold On We're Going Home" that features cameos from A$AP Rocky and Steven Bauer (a.k.a. Manny from Scarface).

We've also got a stream of the new Dr. Dog album, B-Room, which has been described as "a complete overhaul of the band's writing and recording process." Elsewhere, the aforementioned A$AP Rocky gets cozy with Rihanna in his new video for "Fashion Killa."

Finally, the Sam Shalabi-fronted project Land of Kush will release The Big Mango tomorrow via Constellation Records. Having recently relocated from Montreal to Egypt, Shalabi showcases Eastern influences on the album, which he describes as "a love letter to Cairo."
